The Inland Waterways Association are the only independent, national charity campaigning for Britain’s canals and rivers. They are dedicated to supporting and regenerating Britain’s waterways for leisure, living and business.
C&RT's expert hydrologists, historians, ecologists and engineers work together to make sure we experience everything the canals have to offer. With the support of volunteers, heritage and nature can coexist, and history is kept alive for us all to enjoy.
For clubs, AWCC membership provides access to the expertise and shared experience of national AWCC officers. The AWCC offers club members reciprocal arrangements with other member clubs, including emergency help when cruising, access to temporary moorings, and use of other facilities/clubhouse access.
