Our Objectives

The objective of the Club is "The promotion and encouragement of boating on the River Soar, the provision of a social centre for members, and facilities for information and advice on all matters pertaining to the sport in general."

The Soar Boating Club offers a social centre for boating enthusiasts to meet and share common river-based interests. We cruise regularly and support local Canal and River organisations. 

Soar Boating Club offers the ideal place to visit, have fun and meet others.

Our Facilities

The club accommodates 15 private moorings. We have a large river frontage for members who are visiting the club by boat. The club does not operate any hire boats or canoes.

Services to members include: Electric Hook-up, Drinking Water, Elsan Disposal, Pump out, Diesel, Shower & Toilets, Accessible Shower/Toilet.
